Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP)

Did you know that documents are in the public domain regarding Unidentified Aerial Phenomena “in the UK Air Defence Region”

These documents can be downloaded from the Ministry of Defences website free of charge and they do make fascinating reading.

In 1952 Winston Churchill asked “What does all this stuff about flying saucers amount to? What can it mean? What is the truth? Let me have a report at your convenience”.

Since that time the MOD have been keeping recording and monitoring UAP and UFO sightings.

In 1996 a policy review took place on behalf of the MOD to look into the handling of UAP sightings, or UFO sightings to you and me. This data was primaryly reviewed to ascertain if there was any potential threat to the United Kingdom and secondly “to identify any potential military technologies of interest”.

In this exert from their website this is what they have to say...

“The Ministry of Defence has released this report in response to a Freedom of Information request and we are pleased to now make it available to a wider audience via the MOD Freedom of Information Publication Scheme. Where indicated information is withheld in accordance with Section 26 (Defence), Section 27 (International Relations) and Section 40 (Personal Information) of the Freedom of Information Act 2000”
